A weekly Stripe brieffor founders who ship.

Connect Stripe. Every Monday morning, Trenith AI drops a one-page brief in your inbox: what moved in your numbers last week, why it moved, and one thing worth doing this week.

That's the whole product. No dashboard to babysit. No tabs to keep open. No MRR-anxiety-scroll at 9:04am.

Net +$284 MRR. One cohort is leaking.

Good week on the top line, a bad cohort forming at the bottom. Spend 45 minutes on the Reddit cohort. That’s the leak.

Where growth came from

  • Thursday tweet on SaaS pricing pulled 9 signups, 7 converted at avg $39.
  • That thread is now 34% of new MRR. If it dries up, you’re flat next week.

Where the leak is

  • 11 users from the Mar 28 Reddit post churned on day 12. All of them.
  • They sign up, use it twice, never open the dashboard again. Bleed: $319 / mo.

One thing to do this week

  • Send the Reddit cohort a day-2 email that opens directly on the Export flow.
  • One email. One link. Don’t over-think it.

01The problem

The dashboard tells you what happened. It doesn't tell you what to do.

Opening Stripe on Monday and staring at MRR is a ritual, not a decision. Numbers without the narrative are anxiety with a chart.

Same week, two views. What the dashboard showed, and what the brief would have said instead.

Trenith AI · Monday briefbrief@trenith.com

What actually moved

MRR up $114 on paper. Real growth: $284, offset by a $170 leak from last month's Reddit cohort. The net hides the story.

Why churn jumped

Of the 4 cancels, 3 cited pricing. All on annual. Monthly is cheaper and visible; they're downgrading mentally.

Cohort warning

Mar 28 Reddit-post users are at 82% churn. They never reach Export. Send a day-2 email that opens directly on it.

One thing to ignore

$187 in failed payments. 3 of 4 auto-retry successfully. Don't email anyone. Don't check again until Thursday.

02What's different

Three things. That's the whole promise.

If any of them sound useful, the product probably is. If not, keep your inbox.

  1. 01

    A brief, not another dashboard.

Five minutes every Monday. One page. Forwardable without context. You already have enough charts. You need someone who’s read them.

  2. 02

    Prescriptive, not descriptive.

Most tools say "churn is 5.8%." Trenith AI says "three of four churners came from one Reddit post. Kill that channel, focus on organic." One specific action per week.

  3. 03

    Catches the quiet stuff.

Cohort decay. A checkout drop-off that only shows up on mobile. A refund pattern that hasn’t hit your P&L yet. Caught in the brief, not three months later.

03Where it fits

Competent at different jobs.

Every tool below is competent at showing numbers. None of them tell you which numbers matter this Monday and what to do about them. Not arguing they're bad. They're built for a different job. Prices checked April 2026.

04The beta, in writing

No testimonials yet. Commitments instead.

The product works. It's been eating our own Stripe data for three months, and it's time to put it in front of other founders. Six things in writing for the first cohort.

  • No. 01

Your first brief within 7 days.

If the product misses something important in your first brief, we’ll rewrite it by hand and send it back within 24 hours.

  • No. 02

    Quality-reviewed during the beta.

For the first beta cohort, briefs may be quality-reviewed by the Trenith AI team before delivery so we can catch errors. Your data is handled privately and never used for model training.

  • No. 03

    Free during the beta.

No card, no price, no trial countdown. When we come out of beta we’ll announce paid pricing publicly. The beta cohort gets a long runway and a fair founder rate when that happens.

  • No. 04

    Leave anytime. Keep every brief.

Cancel in two clicks. Every brief we ever sent stays in your inbox — they’re yours. Need a raw export of your ingested Stripe data? Email info@trenith.com and we’ll send one. No lock-in, no export fee.

  • No. 05

    One email address. 24-hour response.

info@trenith.com. A human on the team answers, usually within a few hours. No ticketing system, no tier-1 rep, no bots.

  • No. 06

    Read-only in practice. Revokable anytime.

Trenith AI connects to Stripe via OAuth and only makes read calls — we never charge, refund, or modify anything. Disconnect in Stripe settings and we stop ingesting immediately.
